Never Eighteen by Megan Bostic
Never Eighteen is about life, and how most of us take it for granted. Austin only has a short time left in the world, and as much as he wants to stay for his family and friends, he will not be able to. But Austin is determined to change the lives and the outlook of people he knew. He wants to make a difference, even if they made it clear that they don’t want Austin to be involved in their already complicated lives.
The book almost had a Nicholas Sparks feel to it. I’ve only read one Sparks novel and seen like, one or two films based on his books, but the story almost felt like it was written by Nicholas Sparks, but for teenagers. So, in a way, it was predictable.

Never Eighteen is a touching novel with a great concept and a powerful message. If you like Nicholas Sparks’ works, you might like this one, too.
